New Brunswick-born singer/songwriter Laura Sauvage performed yesterday at Toronto venue The Burdock in support of her recently released Simone Records full length "The Beautiful". That record shifts from grunge to synthy garage rock as a vehicle for Sauvage's wry take on the political climate. Our photographer Stephen McGill dropped in to capture some shots from the performance. You can check them out below.

About the Photographer

Stephen McGill has probably seen that band. Over 10 years as a live music photographer and over thousands of shows he's made a habit of trying to find the new and exciting, the confrontational, and the interesting. You can find more of his work at https://www.flickr.com/photos/smcgillphotography.
